PORT ARTHUR — The Port Arthur Independent School District has scheduled meetings for parents, students and staff for Booker T. Washington Elementary and Memorial 9th Grade Campus, the two schools affected by a fire Monday, Jan. 5.
Parents, students and staff of Washington Elementary will meet at 8 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 8 in auditorium at the Memorial 9th Grade campus, 1023 Abe Lincoln Drive.
Parents, students and staff of Memorial 9th Grade campus will meet at 10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 8 in the auditorium.
Information will be provided regarding student relocation and the proposed date students will return to school. The school district urges those affected by the fir to attend these meetings.
