Authorities are investigating a bank robbery after Nederland police got a phone call at 3:17 p.m. Monday.
A man entered Community Bank, in the 2000 block of FM 365, and gave a teller a note saying to give him money and no one would get hurt. He kept one of his hands in a pocket the entire time.
Police officials describe the man as white, 6 feet tall, with a stocky build with a beard and mustache. The man left the bank in a white four-door sedan with an undisclosed amount of money, according to Nederland Police Asst. Chief. Gary Porter.
