Fannett —
A man armed with a machete entered the Brookshire Brothers Pharmacy located at 15303 Hwy. 124 in Fannett at about 9:15 a.m. Tuesday and told the clerk to give him "all the Hydrocodone," but left the store empty handed and was last seen running to the rear of the store.
Jefferson County Sheriff's Office deputies set up a perimeter around the area, but no one was located, a press release from Deputy Rod Carroll said.
The man was described as a white male of unknown age wearing a blue shirt with unknown writing on front, blue jeans, camouflage hat, sunglasses, leather work gloves, white and black running type shoes. He appears to be wearing white or light colored bead or seashell necklace.
No was injured in the robbery. The Sheriff's Office is requesting that anyone with information contact Beaumont Crimestoppers at 833-TIPS. Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this individual.
