BEAUMONT — Beaumont Police are seeking clues to the identity of a man they’ve dubbed the panicked robber.
Video surveillance taken about 4:30 a.m. Jan. 25 at Market Basket, located at 5960 Highway 105 (Eastex Freeway and Highway 105), shows a white male wearing dark clothing inside the store running around, according to a press release from BPD.
The suspect entered the building through the roof but later had trouble finding his way out. After trying several options, the panicking suspect finally broke out a window in front of the store and left the scene.
The suspect is described as a white male wearing a dark skull cap, dark jacket, dark jeans, white tennis shoes, tan backpack and tan gloves.
