Seven suspected members of the Norte 14 street gang are now behind bars on charges of aggravated robbery for a crime spree that took place in Port Arthur, Groves and Port Neches.
Warrants have also been issued for the arrest of two other suspects, also affiliated with the Norte 14 street gang, who were juveniles at the time of the alleged incidents.
The suspects have been connected, collectively, with the Jan. 1 home invasion robbery of a 97-year-old Groves woman in the 6400 block of Hanson, the Jan. 11 armed robbery of a Port Arthur pizza delivery driver in the 2200 block of Seventh Avenue and the Jan. 12 armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver in the 700 block of Cherokee in Port Neches and another armed robbery of a man walking in the 4500 block of West Washington Boulevard in Groves.
Police believe some of the gang members may be linked to the April 10, 2011 armed robbery of a convenience store in the 3500 block of 25th Street.
