Port Arthur Police responded to the following calls from Nov. 7 through Nov. 13
Wednesday, Nov. 7
• Felony theft of a utility trailer was reported in the 700 block of West 17th Street.
• A steel smoker type grill with separate fire box on the side was stolen from the 800 block of Rio Grande Avenue.
• Burglary of a motor vehicle was reported in the 4300 block of Fourth Street.
Thursday, Nov. 8
• A Whirlpool electric washer and a gas dryer were stolen from the 1800 block of Stilwell Boulevard.
• A case of beer and miscellaneous meat was stolen from Walmart, 8585 Memorial Blvd.
• A 2008 Ford F-250 truck was stolen from the 1300 block of Sabine Avenue.
• An Orion 19-inch TV was stolen from the 3400 block of Woodrow Avenue.
• A 32-inch Toshiba LCD flat screen TV, 60-inch Samsung LCD flat screen TV and HP laptop were stolen from a residence at Southwood Crossing Apartments, 3901 Texas 73.
• Assault/family violence was reported at Stonegate Manor Apartments, 4211 Turtle Creek Drive.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported at Normandy Apartments, 3500 Normandy.
Friday, Nov. 9
• Assault was reported at the Boudain Hut, 5214 Gulfway Drive.
• Driving while intoxicated/major accident was reported in the 5500 block of Memorial Boulevard after a vehicle left the roadway and rolled over.
• Injury to a child was reported in the 3000 block of 15th Street.
• A Kicker 750 amplifier, Smith and Wesson .357 revolver, 6-shot loader and Sony Playstation console were stolen from a home in the 7000 block of Kellywood.
• Jewelry and other items were stolen from a home in the 800 block of Pecos Avenue.
• A runaway/assault/family violence was reported in the 5100 block of Ninth Street.
• A vehicle was burglarized at FullFX Gymnastics, 4001 Jimmy Johnson Blvd.
• Assault/family violence was reported at Pebble Creek Apartments, 4121 Jimmy Johnson Blvd.
• A person was arrested for attempting to take weapon from police officer/evading arrest/failure to identify at Tony’s BBQ, 4700 Twin City Hwy.
• Assault/family violence was reported in the 500 block of Trinity Avenue.
• A .25 caliber pistol, miscellaneous CD’s and a stereo were stolen from a vehicle at Normandy Apartments, 3800 Normandy.
• Burglary of a habitation was reported in the 1900 block of Duff Drive.
• A 50-inch Panasonic flat screen TV, 32-inch Panasonic flat screen TV and Toshiba lap top were stolen from a residence at The Shire Apartments, 3860 FM 365.
• An HP lap top, Nintendo 3DS with 20 games, IPOD touch, IPAD, Playstation 3 game console with 30 to 40 games, Nintendo Wii game console with 30 games, XBOX 360 with 20 games, two 55-inch Samsung flat screen TV’s, HP touch computer and a gold tennis bracelet were stolen from a residence at Villa Main Apartments, 901 Main Ave.
• A money order made out in the amount of $150 and 90 Norco pills was stolen from a residence at The Willows Apartments, 7924 Willow Wood Lane.
Saturday, Nov. 10
• A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated with open container in the 3100 block of Memorial Boulevard.
• Assault/family violence was reported in the 1900 block of 15th Street.
• A person was cited or criminal trespass at the Port Arthur Public Library, 4615 Ninth Ave.
• A person was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, and possession of marijuana in the 400 block of Waco Avenue after a call of a suspicious person in the back parking lot of the Port Arthur Police Department.
• A person was arrested for unlawfully carrying a weapon and possession of marijuana, 4.55 ounces, after a call of shots fired in the 3400 block of Fourth Avenue.
• A person was arrested for failure to identify fugitive from justice in the 8700 block of Memorial Boulevard.
• Aggravated assault/family violence was reported at Volcano Club, 3919 Gulfway Drive.
Sunday, Nov. 11
• A person was arrested for evading arrest/detention with previous conviction at Carver Terrace Apartments, 1400 Dewalt Ave. after an officer observed the suspect looking into windows.
• A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated/evading arrest in the 2400 block of Memorial Boulevard.
• A 42-inch Phillips flat screen TV was stolen from Hannah Funeral Home, 3727 Lewis Drive.
• Assault/family violence was reported in the 400 block of West 17th Street.
• A person was arrested for evading arrest/detention at Carver Terrace Apartments, 1110 Carver Terrace, following a large fight.
• A person was arrested for resisting arrest in the 5100 block of Eighth Street.
• Assault/family violence was reported at Lakeview Palms Apartments, 5200 Gulfway Drive.
• A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated, second offense, in the 2700 block of FM 365.
• A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 1700 block of Jefferson Drive after a traffic accident.
• A person was arrested for failure to identify in the 2900 block of Eighth Street.
Monday, Nov. 12
• A person was arrested for terroristic threat/family violence in the 600 block of 14th Street.
• Evading arrest/detention with a motor vehicle was reported in the 1000 block of Fifth Avenue.
• Assault was reported at the Shire Apartments, 4100 FM 365.
• Theft of two T-shirts was reported at Citgo, 1200 Gulfway Drive. The suspect filed assault charges against the store clerks whom he said punched him.
• Two people were arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 3100 block of Eighth Street.
• Theft was reported at Claire’s, 3100 FM 365.
• A Coach brand women’s carry bag with Toshiba lap top, IPAD computer and personal items were stolen from a vehicle at Rampart Apartments, 1604 Village East.
• Two vehicles were burglarized at Chem Spray, 5330 Gulfway Drive.
• Approximately $2 in change was stolen from a vehicle at The Greens, 5200 Turtle Creek Drive.
• Assault was reported at Thomas Jefferson Middle School, 2200 Jefferson Drive.
• A mini refrigerator was stolen from a home in the 1600 block of 10th Street.
• A Mickey Mouse tote containing a wallet and other items was stolen from a vehicle at Cypress Glenn Nursing Home, 7200 Ninth Ave.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported at Cypress Glenn Nursing Home, 7200 Ninth Ave.
• Two Foxwood window blinds, two brushed nickel plated faucets, 32-inch Sony TV and Shark vacuum were stolen from a home in the 5900 block of Evelyn.
Tuesday, Nov. 13
• Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon/family violence was reported at the Driftwood Motel, 3700 Memorial Blvd.
• A 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier was stolen from Green’s Apartments, 3200 Turtle Creek Drive.
• Assault/family violence was reported in the 4000 block of 12th Street.
• A person was arrested for robbery/failure to identify fugitive from justice after allegedly attempting to steal $121.50 worth of clothing from JC Penney, 3100 FM 365. The suspect reportedly injured two members of mall security before being apprehended.
• Assault/family violence was reported at Rampart Apartments, 1724 Village East Blvd.
• Criminal mischief was reported in the 2200 block of Sharon Drive.
• Miscellaneous items were stolen from Walmart, 4999 Twin City Hwy.
• A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 1400 block of Lake Charles.
• A 2006 Ford Taurus was stolen from M&M Superette, 2800 Memorial Blvd. The owner of the vehicle had left the keys in the car.
• A leather holster containing a CZ52 Czeckoslovakian pistol was stolen from a home in the 2100 block of 60th Street.
• An Apple Iphone 2 was stolen from the 1200 block of West Procter Street.
• Assault/family violence was reported at Timber Creek Apartments, 3607 Jimmy Johnson Blvd.
• A 2007 Toyota Camry was stolen from Bent Tree Apartments, 7110 Lake Arthur Drive.
• An XBox game system with six games and Apple IPod were stolen from a home in the 2400 block of 13th Street.
