Rain will continue to fall over the area as temperatures struggle to reach the 40 degree mark on Wednesday.
There is a 60 percent chance of rain with cloudy skies and a high near 39. The low will be around 35 and north wind will be around 15 mpg with gusts as high as 20 mph, according to the National Weather Service-Lake Charles.
Counties to the north of the area near the lakes are looking at the possibility of freezing rain Thursday night and on Wednesday.
