Groves Police blotter for the week of Aug. 4 to Aug. 10:

GROVES — Groves Police responded to the following calls from Aug. 4 to Aug. 10:



Wednesday, Aug. 4

• A parked vehicle was hit by a vehicle that left the scene in the 5800 block of West Washington.

• Someone broke a door glass to gain entry to a house in the 3300 block of Bryan. Nothing appeared to be missing.

• A 47-year-old female was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 4600 block of Boyd.

• A 42-year-old male and a 35-year-old female were arrested for disorderly conduct in the 5500 block of Washington.

• A windshield was broken on a vehicle in the 6700 block of Washington.



 

Thursday, Aug. 5

• A 36-year-old female was arrested on outstanding warrants after officers were called to a disturbance in the 5500 block of Park.

• Cash and medication were stolen from the 5500 block of Park.

• Someone broke into a vehicle and stole several music CD’s and a pair of prescription glasses from the 3100 block of South.

• A criminal trespass report was made in the 2500 block of Main Avenue.



Friday, Aug. 6

• A 17-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated and an 18-year-old male passenger was arrested for public intoxication in the 3000 block of West Parkway.

• A disturbance was reported in the 5600 block of Hogaboom.

• Two adult bicycles and a weedeater push lawnmower were stolen from the 7000 block of Howe.



Saturday, Aug. 7

• Two females were arrested on outstanding warrants in the 5200 block of East Parkway.

• A 17-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 6000 block of South.



Sunday, Aug. 8

• A vehicle drove through a yard and damaged a wooden fence in the 3000 block of Berry.

• A shoplifting occurred in the 4700 block of Twin City Highway.

• A 56-year-old female was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 4100 block of Main.

• A 34-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 4600 block of Wilson.

• A 21-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 5200 block of East Parkway.



 

Monday, Aug. 9


• A disturbance was reported in the 2600 block of First Avenue.

• An Assault was reported in the 5000 block of 33rd Street.

• A stolen vehicle was recovered in Port Arthur.

• Air compressors, weedeater, 17-inch Ford tire and wheel and a 20-inch Alba rim were stolen from the 3200 block of Graves.

• A credit card abuse was reported.

• A 23-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants after a disturbance was reported in the 2600 block of Ruby.

• A 49 year old male was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 2600 block of Main.



Tuesday, Aug. 10

• An assault was reported in the 5800 block of Alabama.

• A dog bite to a 3-year-old male was reported in the 3500 block of Lay.

• A missing person was reported from the 3600 block of Canal.

• Assault was reported in the 6200 block of Jackson.

• An assault was reported in the 2000 block of Orange Acres.
