Port Neches Police blotter week of Sept. 15-21:

PORT NECHES — Port Neches Police Department responded to the following calls from Sept. 15-21:
Tuesday, Sept. 15
• A 46-year-old female was arrested for injury to the elderly in the 800 block of Dallas.
• A 43-year-old male was arrested for a Port Neches traffic warrant.
• A terroristic threat in the 1900 block of Eighth Street.
Wednesday, Sept. 16
• A 42-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated with open container in the 2700 block of Merriman.
• Criminal trespass warning in the 700 block of Ridgewood.
• Telephone harassment in the 700 block of Ridgewood.
Thursday, Sept. 17
• A 35-year-old male was arrested for assault and interference with an emergency call in the 2700 block of South Kitchen.
• An officer investigated a report of information in the 2000 block of Llano.
Friday, Sept. 18
• Criminal mischief in the 1900 block of Seventh Street.
• An officer investigated an information report in the 1400 block of Merriman.
Saturday, Sept. 19
• Theft in the 1400 block of Avenue B.
• Assault in the 2200 block of Armstrong.
• Burglary of a vehicle in the 2300 block of Merriman.
Sunday, Sept. 20
• A 22-year-old female was arrested for public intoxication in the 800 block of Ridgewood.
• A 25-year-old male was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possession of marijuana in the 800 block of Ridgewood.
• A criminal mischief in the 600 block of Birchwood.
• Assault in the 600 block of Ridgewood.
• Burglary of a motor vehicle in the 2100 block of Merriman.
Monday, Sept. 21
• A 29-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 2200 block of Nall.
• Failure to stop and give information in the 600 block of Birchwood.
• Criminal mischief in the 2400 block of Dinah.
• Criminal mischief in the 1900 block of Magnolia.
• Assault in the 1400 block of Merriman.
• A 28-year-old female was arrested for a Port Neches traffic warrant.
• An officer investigated a report of obtaining a prescription by fraud in the 800 block of Magnolia.

The Central Middle School Band capped off a successful year by competing in the Solo and Ensemble Contest on May 5th. Forty-eight students brought home 66 medals.  Band members who won honors are: Danny Abdullah, Syrina Akbari, Abigail Albright, Max Barclay, Joel Bardwell, Jordan Bardwell, Brandon Baumgardner, Anthony Bennett, James Brindza, Cullen Cessna, Vanessa Daigle, Collin Elliott ,Dyan Emerson, Cyle Hubbard, Colin Jackson, Jennifer Jones, Jordan Jones, Jase Keel, Jessica Koons, Marissa Licatino, Todd Luke, Kade McCorvy, Jordan Mitchell, Kelby Myers, Mason Ouzts, Sara Pierce, Kayla Prestridge, Daniela Rodriguez, Noah Ross, Shae Sanders, Chandler Smith, Brian Speight, Erin Stilley, Arriana Torres and Tommy Truong Central's Band Directors are Joe Vargas and Michelle Melancon. On May 15th, the Band will hold its final performances of the year. They will play in Central's auditorium at 9 AM. Later that evening, they will be part of the Nederland ISD Band Pageant at the Performing Arts Center.
