Port Arthur Police blotter week of Oct. 16-19:

PORT ARTHUR — Port Arthur Police Department responded to the following calls from Oct. 16 - 19:

Friday, Oct. 16
• Assault/family violence was reported in the 3700 block of 40th Street.
• Several people were arrested for criminal trespass/possession of a criminal instrument.
• A 19 horse power riding mower, valued at $1,500, was stolen from the 2600 block of 63rd Street.
• Four tires on a 2003 Dodge Stratus were slashed in the 1200 block of St. Augustine.
• A person was arrested for the theft of three video games and a pair of sunglasses from a business in the 8500 block of Memorial Boulevard.
• A person was arrested for burglary of a building in the 300 block of Fourth Avenue.
• A person was assaulted in the 3800 block of Gulfway Drive.
• A person was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance in the 1800 block of Memorial Boulevard.
• Forgery due to a fraudulent scheme was reported.
• A projector and notebook computer were stolen from the Lamar State College-Performing Arts Center, 1600 Procter Street.
• A toolbox was stolen from a 2002 Ford F-250 truck in the 5200 block of Twin City Highway.

Saturday, Oct. 17
• A stereo system was stolen from a 1991 Cadillac Classic in the 900 block of Main, at Villa Main Apartments.
• An outside air conditioning unit, valued at $2,000, was stolen from the 700 block of Sabine Avenue.
• A wallet containing $340, set of keys and cell phone were stolen from a habitation in the 3700 block of Memorial Boulevard, Driftwood Inn.
• A 1992 Honda Accord was stolen from the 3900 block of Lexington.
• A man was arrested for reckless driving in the 3600 block of Jimmy Johnson Boulevard.
• Someone discharged a firearm and shattered the window of a 2010 Honda Pilot in the 10500 block of U.S. 69.
• Two high impact doors, valued at $1,000; and six high impact windows, valued at $2,000, were stolen from a building in the 1500 block of El Paso Avenue.
• Violation of a protective order was reported in the 1200 block of West Ninth Street.
• A Versace-style purse was stolen from a 1997 Honda Civic in the 3900 block of FM 365.

Sunday, Oct. 18
• A 1998 BMW was stolen from the 3000 block of Jimmy Johnson Boulevard, Studio 6.
• A Plymouth Neon was damaged in the 4000 block of Seventh Street.
• Two runaways were reported in the 3900 block of Lewis Drive.
• A 1993 GMC was burglarized in the 2200 block of Shirley Street.
• A $400 Jensen stereo system was stolen from a 2003 Dodge Ram in the 2800 block of Manning Street.
• An apartment was burglarized in the 3900 block of Texas 73, Southwood Crossing.
• Assault/family violence was reported in the 1200 block of Carver Terrace.
• Three flat screen monitors, two speakers and a CPU were stolen from the 500 block of West 11th Street, Willie Carter Outreach Center.
• A large screen tv, valued at $2,500, and an air conditioning unit were stolen from a home in the 1700 block of 14th Street.
• Fraudulent use or possession of identification was reported in the 1000 block of 18th Street.
• Criminal mischief was reported in the 7600 block of Memorial Boulevard.
• A flat screen tv, valued at $200; wooden computer desk and chair, valued at $100, and computer with flat screen monitor and keyboard, valued at $500, were stolen from a home in the 1600 block of Poole Avenue, Arthur Square Apartments.
• A 2000 model single axle homemade trailer was stolen from the 3900 block of 29th Street. The trailer was located in the 4000 block of 30th Street.
• A teen was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon/possession of a prohibited weapon, in the 1100 block of Carver Terrace after reportedly firing a shot that went through the walls of the apartment and struck a 3-year-old in the foot. The teen was found with a 30/30 rifle and 12-gauge shotgun.
• A Remington 30/30 rifle, valued at $300; and a Chester 12-gauge shotgun, valued at $250, were stolen from a home in the 4700 block of Fifth Street.
• Assault/family violence was reported in the 1100 block of 12th Street.

Monday, Oct. 19
• Copper line was stolen from a building in the 900 block of Washington Avenue.
• Coins and currency were stolen from a tip jar and two video game machines at a business in the 2100 block of Memorial Boulevard, Top Hat bar.
• Two women left a store without paying for merchandise in the 8500 block of Memorial Boulevard.
• A home in the 2000 block of Sixth Street was burglarized and major appliances were stolen.
• Two laptop computers with charger and mouse were stolen from a home in the 3900 block of Third Street.
• Copper tubing was stolen from a electrical box at a business in the 800 block of Houston Avenue.
• A large screen tv, valued at $900, was stolen from a home in the 1600 block of 17th Street.
• An electric wheelchair and gas powered generator were stolen from a building in the 2500 block of Woodrow.
• Child abandonment with intent to return was reported in the 3900 block of Texas 73.
• A 4-ton outdoor air conditioner condensing unit was stolen from the 2700 block of 10th Street.
• Assault/family violence was reported in the 7800 block of Heatherbrook Trail.
