Port Athur Police blotter week of Nov. 2-9:

PORT ARTHUR — Port Arthur Police responded to the following calls from Nov. 2- Nov. 9:

Monday, Nov. 2
• A fugitive from Travis County was located in the 1600 block of Village East. The suspect had a .25 caliber pistol and magazine with two live rounds in his possession.
• Twenty squares of roofing shingles, valued at $1,200, were stolen from a home under construction in the 3000 block of 15th Street.
• AN assortment of video equipment, jewelry, clothing, personal papers and money was stolen from a home in the 3300 block of 11th Street.
• A 12-inch subwoofer, $50 in currency, three bags of antique coins and a cell phone were stolen from a home in the 5000 block of Fourth Street.
• Forgery was reported in the 2200 block of Avenue A.
• Road rage is to blame for a vehicular accident in the 9500 block of West Port Arthur Road. One of the drivers was charged with endangering a child.

Tuesday, Nov. 3
• Several washing machines and two refrigerators which were stolen in the 1800 block of 12th Street, were recovered near the 1900 block of 12th Street.
• Theft of prescription medication was reported when a person noticed 120 tablets of Hyrodocodone was discovered missing at Gulf Coast Healthcare, 6600 Ninth Ave. Representatives of the clinic suspect an employee might be responsible.
• A man was shot in the abdomen and suffered non-life threatening injuries in the 900 block of West 13th Street, Prince Hall Apartments.
• A person was arrested for theft in the 2200 block of Third Avenue.
• A juvenile was assaulted in the 5200 block of 10th Street.
• A man was robbed at gunpoint and his 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier stolen in the 5000 block of Fourth Street. The vehicle was later recovered two blocks away. A female was robbed of her purse, cell phone and keys during the same incident.
• Miscellaneous items, valued at about $450, were stolen from a building in the 5100 block of Sixth Street.
• Injury to a child/family violence was reported in the 3900 block of Seventh Street after a teen was struck with a thin, flat stick while being disciplined for being a constant runaway.

Wednesday, Nov. 4
• A 2008 Nissan Armada was burglarized in the 3700 block of Lakeshore Drive.
• A DVD/VCR combo was stolen from the 1600 block of Procter Street, Lamar State College-Port Arthur's technology building.
• A 2005 Chevrolet Colorado was burglarized and a video system and gun were stolen in the 3600 block of Jimmy Johnson Boulevard, Timber Creek Apartments.
• A home in the 6100 block of 17th Street was burglarized.
• A patio door was shattered at a residence in the 4000 block of FM 365, The Shire Apartments.
• Assault/family violence was reported in the 1600 block of Poole Avenue, Poole Avenue Apartments.
• A cell phone, valued at $350, was reported stolen in the 8800 block of Memorial Boulevard.
• Harassment was reported in the 3200 block of 36th Street.
• An attempted burglary was reported in the 2100 block of Lakeshore Drive.
• Police responded to a call of a person shooting a gun into the air in the 3500 block of Turtle Creek Drive, Port Arthur Townhomes. The suspect was arrested for disorderly conduct discharge/display firearm.
• A 1999 Chevrolet truck was burglarized and a stereo was stolen in the 2400 block of 65th Street. The suspects gained entry by shattering a passenger window.
• A person was arrested on a charge of felon in possession of a firearm in the 1400 block of DeQueen Boulevard.
• A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 2600 block of U.S. 69.

Thursday, Nov. 5
• The door of a home in the 800 block of Woodowrth was kicked in and a refrigerator was stolen. No one was at home at the time of the incident.
• A large compressor, valued at $500, and two 100 foot extension cords were stolen from the 2800 block of Sixth Street.
• A forgery was reported in the 4900 block of Twin City Highway.
• A woman attempted to steal $128.83 in infant clothing and other articles at a business in the 4900 block of Texas 73, Walmart. The items were recovered.
• A home in the 5000 bloc of Fifth Street was burglarized and an iPod was stolen.
• A person was arrested after attempting to steal a Preston and Yorke black leather jacket, valued at $129.19, from a business in the 3100 block of FM 365, Dillard’s.
After a minor vehicle accident, a man fired several shots at the other persons vehicle in the 3600 block of 39th Street. The suspect’s 7-year-old child was in the vehicle at the time.
• Charges were filed on a woman for resisting arrest/detention in the 700 bloc of West Ninth Street.
• A woman was assaulted n the 7200 block of Ninth Avenue, 9th Avenue Station Apartments.
• A 42-inch TV was stolen from a home in the 1800 block of 19th Street.
• A person was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, crack cocaine, in the 1700 block of Village East, Rampart Apartments.

Friday, Nov. 6
• Eight tires and rims were stolen from trailers at a business in the 3200 bloc of 25th Street, U-Haul.
• A 2001 Honda Accord was burglarized and a CD player and two amplifiers were stolen in the 3000 bloc of 25th Street.
• A 1997 Oldsmobile Cutlass was stolen from Nederland and located in Port Arthur. The rear window of the car was busted out and the car stereo stolen. PAPD assisted Nederland Police with this case.
• A new Poulan weedeater, valued at $146, was stolen from a building in the 2300 block of Seventh Street.
• Assault/family violence was reported in the 4200 block of Lake Arthur Drive.
• Criminal mischief was reported in the 2700 block of Memorial Drive.
• Fraudulent use of ID information was reported in the 2000 block of Augusta.
• Assault/family violence was reported in the 3100 block of Alamo.
• An attempted aggravated robbery occurred in the 4100 block of 32nd Street, Food Basket No. 8.
• A 67-inch TV, laptop computer and two wrist watches were stolen from a home in the 4200 block of Turtle Creek Drive, Stonegate Apartments.
• A purse was stolen from the truck of a car at FM 365 and Lamplighter Lane, Senior Rehab.
• Wood flooring, valued at $7,500; stainless steel sink, valued at 41,200; five 5-gallon buckets of grout, valued at $500; five 5-gallons buckets of advesive, valued at $75; and four chrome bidets, valued at $600, were stolen from a home under construction in the 9100 block of Laura Lane.

Saturday, Nov. 7
• An aggravated assault was reported in the 1900 block of Savannah.
• A 1988 Chevrolet truck was burglarized and a Pioneer CD player stolen in the 2900 block of 19th Street.
• A man was robbed by three other people on South Levee Road on Pleasure Island. The suspects were located and placed into custody.
• Several feet of plastic sheeting, valued between $150 and $200, was stolen from a home in the 2300 block of 17th Street.
• A building was burglarized in the 2000 block of Fifth Avenue.
• An oven and refrigerator were stolen from a newly constructed home in the 3000 block of 10th Street.
• A 2001 Chevrolet truck was burglarized and stereo equipment was stolen in the 1700 block of Third Avenue.
• A 2001 Chevrolet truck was burglarized in the 1700 block of Third Avenue.
• A home in the 1200 block of Carver Terrace was burglarized and a basket of miscellaneous clothing, miscellaneous hygiene products and a bag of miscellaneous hair pieces were stolen.
• A counterfeit $20 bill was reported at a business in the 2400 block of West FM 365, Crawdad’s.
• Two rolls of copper wire were stolen from a building in the 700 block of Marion Anderson.
• A sexual assault was reported.
• Shots were fired at a home in the 1300 block of Sabine Avenue.
• Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon/family violence was reported in the 1900 block of Savannah after a woman was struck in the head with a bottle, causing a deep laceration.
• Two TV’s, a computer and monitor and unknown amount of men’s clothing were stolen from a home in the 400 block of West Gulfway Drive.

Sunday, Nov. 8
• Deadly conduct was reported when someone fired a weapon at a train, carrying three people, in the 3100 block of Lombardy.
• A person was arrested for deadly conduct in the 900 block of Delaware after a number of shots were fired in the area.
• A person was arrested for assault/family violence in the 3900 block of 32nd Street.
• A man was arrested for criminal trespass in the 2700 block of Memorial Drive, Raceway. The man’s bicycle was impounded as well.
• A man was arrested for theft of service, room stay $120 for two days, in the 3800 block of Gulfway Drive, Port Arthur Inn.
• Criminal mischief to a motor vehicle was reported in the 800 block of Ninth Avenue.
• A 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier was burglarized and an Apple i-Pod was stolen in the 8500 block of U.S. 69, Walmart. The suspect gained entry through an unlocked passenger door.
• A 2003 Ford Explorer was burglarized and miscellaneous CD’s were stolen from the 5200 block of 14th Street.
• A home in the 2300 block of Seventh Street was burglarized.
• A home in the 1700 block of Marion Anderson was burglarized.
• A 4-wheeler, valued at $8,000, was stolen from the 2900 block of 60th Street.

Monday, Nov. 9
• A home was burglarized in the 1900 block of Neches and an XBox 360 and headset were stolen. A person was later arrested while in possession of the victim’s vehicle.
• Injury to the elderly was reported in the 3400 block of 25th Street.
• Aggravated sexual assault was reported in the 100 block of West Thomas Boulevard.
• Felony theft was reported in the 1400 block of Carolina.
• A 1999 Chevrolet Suburban was burglarized and an i-Pod and stereo face plate were stolen fin the 2700 block of Florida Avenue.
• Approximately 250 feet of heavy electrical wire, valued at $875, was stolen from the 1500 block of Lakeshore Drive, the site of the former Woodrow Wilson school.
• Aggravated assault/family violence was reported in the 700 block of Liberty.
• Assault/family violence/criminal mischief was reported in the 1000 block of West 13th Street, Prince Hall Apartments.
• A one-gallon compressor, valued at $80; chainsaw, valued at $140; and heavy duty grinder, valued at $200, were stolen from a home in the 1300 block of West Fifth Street.
• Aggravated sexual assault of a child was reported. The young child was diagnosed by a local hospital as having a sexually transmitted disease.
• A person was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 3800 block of Gulfway Drive.
• A person was arrested for possession of marijuana in the 3800 block of Gulfway Drive.
• A 2005 Dodge Ram was stolen from the 4400 block of Markwood Court.
• A 1998 Lincoln Navigator, reported stolen from Houston, was discovered in the front yard of a home in the 800 block of Mobile.
• Identity theft was reported.
• Jewelry was stolen from a home in the 3800 block of Seventh Avenue.
• A woman was arrested for attempting to have a fraudulent prescription for Hydrocodone filled at a business in the 3700 block of FM 365.
• A person checked into a motel in the 2000 block of West Texas 73 and found a shoe box containing 18.96 grams of cocaine, a Pyrex measuring cup, box of baking soda, two metal forks, a digital scale and box of plastic sandwich bags.
• Stolen property was recovered in the 2600 block of 64th Street.
