Groves Police blotter for the week of Aug. 25 to Aug. 31:

GROVES — Groves Police responded to the following calls from Aug. 25 to Aug. 31:



Wednesday, Aug. 25

• A 41-year-old female was arrested for driving while intoxicated, second offense, in the 6700 block of Texas 73.

• An 18-year-old male was arrested for assault by threat in the 3200 block of Lay Avenue.

• A 38-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 5100 block of East Parkway.

• A 17-year-old male was arrested for operating a bicycle at night without a headlamp and fail to identify in the 3200 block of Twin City Highway.



Thursday, Aug. 26

• A disturbance was reported in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.



Friday, Aug. 27

• A 32-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants after a traffic stop in the 5000 block of 25th Street.

• A vehicle parked in the 1900 block of Perry Avenue was keyed causing damage to the paint.

• Unauthorized charges were made to a debit card account.

• Someone damaged a front door on a house in the 2600 block of Ruby.

• A 20-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 4800 block of Cleveland.

A 23 and a 24 year old male were arrested for Public Intoxication in the 4600 block of Twin City.

• A 43-year-old male was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and a 20-year-old male passenger was arrested for no safety belt in the 6000 block of Monroe.

• A 22-year-old male was arrested for running a stop sign and failing to display a driver’s license in the 5400 block of Gulfway Drive.



Saturday, Aug. 28

• Two storage buildings were burglarized in the 6700 block of Coolidge.

• A 50-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 7000 block of 32nd Street.



Sunday, Aug. 29

• A 34-year-old female was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 5000 block of Twin City Highway.

• A 19-year-old female was arrested for public intoxication in the 4900 block of Twin City Highway.

• A disturbance was reported in the 5100 block of 33rd Street.

• Two white males in a white van were seen attempting to steal a riding lawnmower from the 4600 block of Roosevelt.

• A 19-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 4900 block of Twin City Highway.

• A red Honda lawnmower was stolen from the 5500 block of Hogaboom



Monday, Aug. 30

• A 58-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 3500 block of Twin City Highway.

• Unauthorized charges were made to a bank account.

• An HP laptop computer, an X-Box controller and games were stolen from the 2000 block of Owens.



Tuesday, Aug. 31

• A disturbance was reported in the 6200 block of Warren.

• A 17-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 3100 block of Graves.

• A 16 year old male was reported as a runaway.

Everyone needs to be buckled up properly. That means older kids and adults in seat belts, younger kids in booster seats and little kids in child safety seats.
