Port Neches Police blotter for the week of Aug. 24 to Aug. 30:

PORT NECHES — Port Neches Police responded to the following calls from Aug. 24 to Aug. 30:



Tuesday, Aug. 24

• A 33-year-old male in the 1200 block of Merriman for a Port Neches traffic warrant.

• Criminal mischief in the 1400 block of Gulf.

• Criminal mischief in the 800 block of Gulf.

• Theft in the 700 block of Lee.



Wednesday, Aug. 25

• A 25-year-old female in the 1200 block of Merriman for a Port Neches traffic warrant.

• Burglary of a building was reported in the 1400 block of Herring.

• Found property was reported in the intersection of Nall and Magnolia.

• Theft in the 2200 block of Patricia.

• Two reports of criminal mischief were reported in the 1400 block of Merriman.



Thursday, Aug. 26

• Assault was reported in the 1400 block of Merriman.

• Assault was reported in the 2700 block of Nall.

• Assault was reported in the 800 block of Montgomery.



Friday, Aug. 27

• An officer investigated an information report in the 1200 block of Merriman.

• A 43-year-old female was arrested in the 1200 block of Merriman for a Port Neches traffic warrant.

• Assault was reported in the 2300 block of Nederland Avenue.

• Theft was reported in the 1400 block of Gulf.

• Assault was reported in the 1000 block of Montrose.



Saturday, Aug. 28

• Assault was reported in the 2400 block of Saba.

• Terroristic threats were reported in the 400 block of East Port Neches Avenue.

 

Sunday, Aug. 29

• Criminal mischief was reported in the 1400 block of Merriman.

• Two reports of burglary of a vehicle were made in the 2500 block of 10th Street.

• Burglary of a vehicle was reported in the 1000 block of West Avenue.

• Terroristic threats were reported in the 1200 block of Montrose.

• Burglary of a vehicle and a building were reported in the 2700 block of Merriman. 



Monday, Aug. 30

• Theft was reported in the 2000 block of Llano.

• A 19-year-old male was arrested in the 1200 block of Merriman for Port Neches traffic warrants.

• Theft was reported in the 2000 block of Llano.

The Central Middle School Band capped off a successful year by competing in the Solo and Ensemble Contest on May 5th. Forty-eight students brought home 66 medals.  Band members who won honors are: Danny Abdullah, Syrina Akbari, Abigail Albright, Max Barclay, Joel Bardwell, Jordan Bardwell, Brandon Baumgardner, Anthony Bennett, James Brindza, Cullen Cessna, Vanessa Daigle, Collin Elliott ,Dyan Emerson, Cyle Hubbard, Colin Jackson, Jennifer Jones, Jordan Jones, Jase Keel, Jessica Koons, Marissa Licatino, Todd Luke, Kade McCorvy, Jordan Mitchell, Kelby Myers, Mason Ouzts, Sara Pierce, Kayla Prestridge, Daniela Rodriguez, Noah Ross, Shae Sanders, Chandler Smith, Brian Speight, Erin Stilley, Arriana Torres and Tommy Truong Central's Band Directors are Joe Vargas and Michelle Melancon. On May 15th, the Band will hold its final performances of the year. They will play in Central's auditorium at 9 AM. Later that evening, they will be part of the Nederland ISD Band Pageant at the Performing Arts Center.
