Senior Line: Get your goodies Saturday at the center

NEDERLAND — Saturday, Oct. 20, there will be a garage sale, drink and link and bake sale so come on down to 914 Boston Ave. for all the goodies. The sale is from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. There are lots of goodies to choose from, so we are looking forward to seeing you.

The Lamar Nursing students did a fantastic job instructing the elderly about falling and how dangerous it is. It was very informative and they left us all instructions and gift bags. We are looking forward to see what they will do next. Everyone enjoys their visits.

We are still accepting cans for our tin people. We are still accepting items for our garage sale...don't be bashful...just drop off the items in your house you are tired of or don't use anymore. You know everyone's trash is someone's treasure.

We are still having raggy quilt classes on Wednesday plus the guilters are still working on a beautiful quilt. Everyone is welcome.

Our schedule is as follows:

Mondays..games or movies with popcorn.

Tuesday and Thursday..games of your choice.

Wednesday...quilting day.

Friday..Bingo.

The coffee is always hot and snacks are available. So come on down and visit. You might meet an old friend or make a new one. You don't have to play games, you can observe what is going on, read the Port Arthur news, watch TV, work on a jigsaw puzzle or have a cup of coffee and a snack. Everyone is welcome so come on down. Hope to see you real soon.
