NEDERLAND — Nederland Police responded to the following calls from Oct. 1 through Oct. 7                                                    



Monday, Oct. 1

• Assault that causes bodily injury family violence was reported in the 2300 block of Detroit Avenue.

• A person was arrested for criminal trespass in the 2300 block of North U.S. 69.



Tuesday, Oct. 2

• An information report was made in the 3700 block of Nederland Avenue.

• Burglary of a vehicle was reported in the 1800 block of Gary Avenue.

• Credit card or debit card abuse was reported in the 500 block of North U.S. 69.

• An officer transported a person to the Jefferson County Jail for the Municipal Court.

• Identity theft was reported in the 2100 block of Avenue G.

• Assault was reported in the 2300 block of Avenue H.

• Fraud was reported in the 300 block of North 37th Street.

• A person was arrested for outstanding Nederland warrants in the 2300 block of Avenue A.



Wednesday, Oct. 3

• Theft was reported in the 3600 block of Nederland Avenue.

• Assault/family violence and a theft were reported in the 100 block of North 22nd Street.

• A person was arrested for Nederland warrants in the 1800 block of Nederland Avenue.



Thursday, Oct. 4

• A person was arrested on another agency’s warrants in the 500 block of South Sixth Street.

• A person was arrested for public intoxication in the 2900 block of FM 365.

• Burglary of a building was reported in the 2700 block of Canal Avenue.

• Theft of a firearm was reported in the 1800 block of Gary Avenue.

• Theft was reported in the 800 block of 12th Street.

• A person was arrested for possession of marijuana in the 3300 block of Park.

• A person was arrested for another agency’s warrants in the 3700 block of Avenue H.

• A person was arrested for resisting arrest or transport in the 2100 block of North 18th Street.

• A sergeant found property in the 500 block of Twin City Highway.

                                                                                                     

Friday, Oct. 5

• Assault/family violence was reported in the 800 block of Chicago Avenue.

• A person was arrested on another agency’s warrants in the 1500 block of South 27th Street.

• Harassment was reported in the 1200 block of South 14th Street.



Saturday, Oct. 6

• A sergeant arrested a person for public intoxication and took the person in for a mental commitment in the 1300 block of North Twin City Highway.

• Burglary of a vehicle was reported in the 3500 block of Avenue A.

• A person was arrested on another agency’s warrants in the 1500 block of North Twin City Highway.

• Reckless damage or destruction was reported in the 1300 block of Avenue H.



Sunday, Oct. 7

• A person was taken into custody on a mental commitment in the 700 block of Boston Avenue.

• Assault/family violence impede breathing/circulation was reported in the 100 block of Atlanta Avenue.

• A person was arrested on another agency’s warrants in the 1300 block of South Twin City.

• Criminal mischief was reported in the 1600 block of FM 365.

• A person was arrested on another agency’s warrants in the 1300 block of South 27th Street.

• Assault was reported in the 200 block of North Fifth Street.
