NEDERLAND —
The Nederland Economic Development Corporation is set to conduct a public hearing regarding an incentive to bring Howell’s Furniture Co. LTD. to the city.
The public hearing is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the NEDC office, 1903 Atlanta Ave.
Following the public hearing the board will go into closed session to discuss several matters. Once reconvened, the board will consider action regarding the expenditure of funds for economic development to Howell’s for a retail furniture store to be located on FM 365 in Nederland.
