NEDERLAND — Keely Jardell’s School of Dance Competition recently traveled to Houston and Dallas to the Regional Dance Competitions. The 50 competing dancers participated in numerous categories and received the top platinum awards.
The team also received the Most Entertaining Award. These high marks have garnered the dancers the opportunity to enter the National Competition in San Antonio this summer. The teams will compete against troupes from Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Jersey and cities all over Texas.
Jardell’s team also received several overall awards which qualified them to compete in the Grand National Finals. The dancers took sixth and fourth overall in the senior category, along with first overall in the junior category and the production category.
