Utopia —
Obie Dan Milton, Jr. of Utopia passed away on April 13, 2012 at his residence at the age of 85. He was born on September 3, 1926 in Kentwood, LA to Obie D. and Estelle (Ash) Milton. He married Elizabeth Joan Ackerson on May 27, 1977 in Port Arthur, TX.
He is survived by two daughters, Kathy Clayton and husband Phillip of Hampshire, TX and Kay Ingalls and husband Hilman of Crosby, TX; one brother, Glenn Milton of McComb, MS; five grandchildren, Curtis Ingalls, Matthew Haselden, Jason Haselden, Jennifer Trevino and Tracy Dalby; eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Elizabeth Joan Milton.
Family visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Monday at the Rushing-Estes- Knowles Chapel in Sabinal. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Utopia Methodist Church in Utopia with burial to follow in Jones Cemetery.
