PORT ARTHUR —
Gerald Lynn “Roll” Cyprien, Sr., 56, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013. He was born March 21, 1956 to the late Nona & Raymond Cyprien, Sr. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Class of 1974. Gerald was employed as a maintenance technician for over fifteen years and retired in 2011.
Gerald is survived by his children, Gerfonda L. Thomas (the late Alex), Gerald L. Cyprien, Jr. (Arlene); six grandchildren, four siblings, Robert C. Newberry (Jackie), Glenda Cyprien (Alfred), Gale Chapman (Ervis Sr.), Dale Cyprien (Jean); ten nieces and nephews; a host of great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends; honorary son, Joshua Conner.
Gerald was preceded in death by his wife of 19 years, Stella Cyprien; three siblings, Arthur Ray Cyprien, Mary Ellen Gibson and Raymond Cyprien, Jr.
Funeral service will be held Friday, January 18, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Mount Calvary Baptist Church with a viewing from 9 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
