PORT ARTHUR —
Aurelia J. Orozco, 92, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the home of her daughter, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Port Arthur, Texas on the 3rd day of April 1920 as one of nine children to Estanislado and Simona Jinez.
Aurelia was a lifelong resident of this area and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Reverend T. R. Blanco officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
A visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with a rosary service to begin at 6:00 p.m.
Aurelia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Rafael Orozco, Sr., brothers, Jessie, Robert, and Roy Jinez, sister, Clara Carrasco, daughter, Augestine, and son, Richard Cortez.
She is survived by her three daughters, Mary Adame and husband, Manuel of Richmond, Norma Greenwood of Hockley, and Martha Pavlis of Austin, two sons, Rafael Orozco, Jr. and wife, Gloria of Port Neches and Thomas Orozco and wife, Juanita of Bridge City, four sisters, Mercedes Barbosa of Beaumont, Henrietta Trevino of Groves, Mary Silva of Richmond, and Beatrice Cricchio of Port Arthur, eleven grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.
