   Barbara Ann Hall, 83, of Beaumont, died on Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at Silsbee Oaks HealthCare. She was born on December 20, 1928, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to Susie Tommy Murph Etchison and Sanford Etchison, and had been a BARBARA ANN HALL

 

   Barbara Ann Hall, 83, of Beaumont, died on Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at Silsbee Oaks HealthCare. She was born on December 20, 1928, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to Susie Tommy Murph Etchison and Sanford Etchison, and had been a lifelong resident of the Beaumont area.

   Barbara was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and several other organizations, such as American Women’s Association, Southeast Credit Unions Manager Association, and Golden Triangle Chapter of Credit Unions. She was also a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.

   Survivors include her daughter, Susan G. Weir and her husband, Tommy, of Beaumont; granddaughters, Kim Ivey; Christy Simon and her husband, Jason; and Brandi Coffin and her husband, Frank; step-grandchildren, Todd Weir and his wife, Donna; and Brent Weir and his wife, Staci; great-grandchildren, Cole Simon, Cameron Ivey, Natalie Simon, Anna Kate Weir, Mark Simon, Harrison Weir, Ava Coffin, Ty Weir, and Margo Coffin; expecting new great-granddaughter, Taylor Weir; and many other loving family members, friends, and the people that took such special care of her.

   She is preceded in death by her mother and stepfather.

   A gathering of Mrs. Hall’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her committal will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 1, 2012, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3900 Twin City Highway, Groves.
