Wierzchula. On June 29,
1976, she married Douglas
X. Williams in Missouri
City, Texas. Gerda has
lived in the Katy area
since 2009.
Gerda Louise Williams
passed away on Sunday,
January 6, 2013, in a
Houston hospital, at the
age of 86 years.
She is survived by her
son, Trades Dugan Phil-
lips and his fiancée, Judy;
daughter, Michelle A. Sul-
livan and her husband
Wade; grandchildren,
Christina Phillips, Lind-
sey Phillips, Amber Sulli-
van, Jade Sullivan, Alexia
Guidry, and London
Guidry; and brother,
Georg Wierzchula. She
was preceded in death by
her husband, Douglas X.
Williams on May 7, 1989.
Visitation was held on
Monday, January 7, 2013
at the Schmidt Funeral
Home, in Katy.
