— Christopher De Leon was born in Port Arthur, TX on October 5, 1948 to Dan De Leon and Celsa De Leon. He passed away on April 27, 2012 at the age of 63. Chris graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur, TX. After high school he graduated from college with a teaching degree and then substituted as a teacher for many years before joining the Marines. He worked for the Social Security Administration for 35 years. In his spare time Chris earned 8th Dan in martial arts after several years of training and also was a member of Single Action Shooting Society. He is preceded in death by his parents. Chris is survived by daughter, Danielle De Leon, son, Bryan De Leon, sisters, Louise David and Ida Boersman, grandchildren, Isaac Galvan, Michael De Leon, nephews, Danny David, and Darren David.
