PORT ARTHUR —
Ann Spiegel, 88, of Humble, Texas passed away at Rosemont Assisted Living in Humble, Texas on Friday, July 20, 2012. She was born on June 29, 1924 to Ruby Lowe Bower and Wiltie Bower in Port Arthur, Texas. Ann was a counselor for T.E.C and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a charter member of Proctor Baptist Church. She was a board member with the Port Arthur Chamber of Commerce for many years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Spiegel.
She is survived by her sons, Wesley and wife Jayne of Richardson, Texas, Carl and wife Vanessa Spiegel of Nederland, Texas; daughter, Merrell and husband Dennis Scott of Humble, Texas; sisters, Margaret Dragoo of Kingwood, Texas, June Huse of Tulsa, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Anna Spiegel, Kristina Spiegel, Katie and husband Jeff Shaddix, Leah and husband Doug Friday, Aaron and wife Alicia Spiegel and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home from 3-5 PM. Funeral service will be Monday, July 23, 2012 at Proctor Baptist Church at 10 AM with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
