Josefina H. Rodriguez, 85, passed away Friday, May 18, 2012, in Laredo, Texas.
Mrs. Rodriguez was a beloved mother whose love brought joy and happiness to so many. The warmth of her kindness embraced her, as she passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Maria de los Angeles and Jesus Hinojosa; husband, Luis Rodriguez.
She is survived by her children, Mirtha (Alfredo+) Briseño, Jose Luis (Carmela+) Rodriguez, Maricela (Jorge) Gonzalez, Graciela Montemayor, San Juanita (Juan) Galicia, Maria de los Angeles Rodriguez, Isabel Rodriguez and Jesus (Melissa) Rodriguez, she is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 30 great- grandchildren.
A rosary will be recited on Monday, May 21, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m.
Interment will follow in the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
