PORT NECHES —
Iva Mae Jones 85, of Port Neches, passed away Monday, January 7, 2013, in New Braunfels. Iva was a native of Belmont, Louisiana, and had lived in Port Neches most of her life. She was a member of Seventh Street Baptist Church, Nederland and also participated in the Martha Sunday School Class.
She is survived by daughters, Marlene Roark and her husband, Charles; Charlene McKee and her husband, Bruce; Karolyn Duhon and her husband, Michael; grandchildren, Carolyn, Cari, Clark, and Kendra; and great-grandsons, Ben and Dominic.
Iva is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jones, Jr.; son, Joseph Jones; and grandson, Chuck Roark.
A gathering of Mrs. Jones’ family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12thStreet, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 11, 2013, at Broussard’s, with Brother Kevin McWilliams officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
