PORT ARTHUR —
Mary J. Brown, 78 passed away on August 20, 2010 at her daughter’s residence in Pevely, Missouri. She was a 50 year residence of Port Arthur prior to moving to Missouri. A native of Delcambre, Louisiana and a nurses aid at Gulf Coast Nursing Home for 15 years.
Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 25, 2010. Graveside services will follow at 11 A.M. at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Willard Brown. Survivors are her daughter, Cynthia G. Hayes of Pevely, Missouri, her sons, Glen Larkin of Texas City, Texas and Ronald Balsimo of Hemphill, Texas, 5 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren along with her brother, Butch Delcombre of Mississippi.
