Fort Worth, Texas
August was born in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Myrtle J. Lancelin Linden and Phillip J. Linden, Sr. After serving in the military, he worked for Texaco in Port Arthur for 15 years before moving his family to the Dallas-Forth Worth Area.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 42 years, Mary Brown Linden; one daughter Melana D. Linden; one son Adrian P. Linden; four grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn two sisters, Delores M. Linden Westbrook and Deborah A. Linden Johnson; three brothers, Reverend Phillip J. Linden, Jr., Donald P. Linden (Pauline) and Michael L. Linden (Jeanita); and a host of other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Gregory M. Linden.
