We invite you to come and celebrate the home going of our mother, Ruby Gordon. We are sure without a doubt that she is singing and shouting and nobody will be able to put her out. Ruby Gordon who spent her life preparing for her walk around Heaven, departed this life Friday August 27, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence “Flash” Gordon and her daughter Synovia “Jackie” Johnson. Ruby leaves to cherish the memories of her life, her loving and devoted mother Lee Etta Flournoy, her sons, Morris Green, Jr. and Phillip Green, her daughter, Bonita Hollis, stepchildren, Glenda Robinson, and Lawrence Lee Gordon. A host of relatives and love ones. Services are Saturday September 4, at New St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 1048 West Gulfway Drive. Visitation 9AM. Service 11:00AM. Under the direction of Moody-Harris Funeral Home.
