Kenneth “Kenny” Wayne Washington
Kenneth “Kenny” Wayne Washington, 51, was born December 26, 1960 to Walter Jr. and Rose Mary Washington in Port Arthur, Texas. Kenneth attended and served at New Light Christian Center Church. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1978. He was a faithful employee of ChemTreat Inc. for over 19 years.
He went home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 16, 2012.
He leaves to cherish his memories his beloved and devoted wife, Carolyn Johnson Washington; three children, David Richardson (Angela), Jonette Ross (Bobby) and Kenlyn Washington; 7 brothers, Michael Thomas (Marilyn), Henry Thomas (Lois), Walter Washington (Cynthia), Kurt Washington (Pamela), John Fontenette (Melissa), Russell Fontenette (Phyllis), Andrew Jacobs; 4 sisters, Alma Burke, Greta Green (Alfred), Fredia Washington - Simmons, and Cheryl Swallow (Burke); 9 grandchildren, one aunt, Josie Mae Matthews; 1 very close friend and brother Latye Hatcher; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012 at New Light Christian Church in Beaumont at 3780 Crow Rd. with the Homegoing Celebration beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
