PORT ARTHUR — Groves Police responded to the following calls from Feb. 17- Feb. 23:
Wednesday, Feb. 17
• A 32-year-old male was arrested on outstanding County warrants after being stopped on a traffic violation.
• A 37-year-old female was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 5000 block of Texas 73 after an officer observed a silver Honda swerving and running up behind vehicles erratically,
• A dog bite was reported by a citizen in the 2200 block of Berry.
• A 39-year-old male was arrested on a felony warrant out of Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office in the 6400 block of Coolidge.
• Forgery was reported at a local business in the 6000 block of 39th Street.
• Burglary of a vehicle was reported by a citizen in the 6400 block of Taylor in which a Pioneer Radio/CD player was taken.
• Forced entry to a home in the 5000 block of Bay was reported and has been turned over to investigators.
Thursday, Feb. 18
• A 21-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the parking lot of a local business in the 4600 block of Twin City Highway.
• A 23-year-old-male was arrested for evading arrest and possession of controlled substance after the officers arrived at the scene of an accident in the 5200 block of North.
• A gas powered leaf blower and weed trimmer were stolen from a home in the 6100 block of Dave.
• A disturbance was reported in the 4600 block of Gulf Avenue.
Friday, Feb. 19
• Criminal mischief of scratches to a 2004 Ford pickup in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive was reported.
• Two 23-year-old males were arrested for public intoxication after officers responded to a call from dispatch regarding a pickup truck in the ditch in the 6100 block of Madison.
• A 24-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 3900 block of Grant.
• A 39-year-old female was arrested on outstanding warrants after a traffic stop on Texas 73.
• A 49-year-old male was arrested for Driving while intoxicated in the 3100 block of Main.
• An employee at a business in the 4500 block of Twin City Highway was threatened by a man driving a red Honda .
Saturday, Feb. 20
• No reports.
Sunday, Feb. 21
• An 18-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication by a minor in the 3800 block of Cleveland.
• A 30-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants after a traffic stop in the 5000 block of 25th Street.
• A 25-year-old male was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 6500 block of Monroe.
Monday, Feb. 22
• The front door to a business in the 2500 block of Main was broken out by a someone throwing a piece of cement through it.
• A 47-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 6600 block of Hanson.
• Someone broke into a Peterbuilt truck parked in the 5000 block of Twin City Highway, and stole a Cobra CB, a Garmin GPS, duffle bag and a Motorola phone adapter.
• A men’s wallet was stolen from the 3400 block of Twin City Highway.
Tuesday, Feb. 23
• A 26-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 4600 block of Wilson.
