PORT ARTHUR —
The Port Arthur Association of Retired Teachers is giving away books to the first grade class for Travis Elementary.
The group will meet at the school at noon on Nov. 8 and distribute the books as the students arrive at 1 p.m.
The retired teachers association does this every year, picking a different grade at a different school every time.
