PORT ARTHUR — Friends and family of Raymond Meyer will host a benefit beginning at 10 a.m. March 17 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 3749 Lincoln, Groves. Barbecue dinners will be $7 each. There will also be live musical entertainment.
In June of 2006 Raymond Meyer suffered a massive stroke and sustained a brain hemorrhage. He is currently recovering in an area facility. Donations are also being accepted at Gulf Credit Union account No. 13887. For more information, call 344-0503.
