C.A.R.E. Fund Donations

Submitted by: Ashely Tawney, Media Specialist

FivePoint Employees are living out credit union mission statement of improving the quality of life for our members and the community. In 2004, the employees of FivePoint created a special fund, C.A.R.E. Fund (Community Action of Responsible Employees), solely from employee contributions to donate to local non-profit charitable organizations. Each year FivePoint employees vote on different organizations to donate their funds to. On May 28, 2008, the employees of FivePoint presented the Alzheimer’s Association and Elijah’s Place with checks in the amount of $1,440.21. FivePoint Credit Union is building relationships not only through products and services but also by what they give back to the community.
