Interdenominational Fellowship of Christians will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Israel Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 948 Texas Ave.

Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, 501 W. Thomas Blvd., will host a “Seniors Alive” meeting at noon Thursday. The topic will be, “The Disciple’s Prayer Life: Week 11.” Yvonne Floyd will be the discussion leader. For more information or transportation, call 982-6464.

St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church, 929 Texas Ave., will host its gospel musical at 5 p.m. Saturday. The Free Spirit Gospel Group of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church and the congregation of Peaceful Rest Baptist Church will be the guests. The program will be hosted by Kathy Mayo.

Rock Island Missionary Baptist Church will host a “Tea, salad Parade and Fashion Show” from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at Kirwin Hall, 3620 17th St. The event will be hosted by Rock Island Missionary Society.

Port Arthur City Wide Ushers will feature “Men In Action” celebrating their Fifth Annual Memorial Musical at 7 p.m. Friday, April 11, at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 248 East 18th St. The will be hosted by the Rev. Kurt Washington. All area Male Choruses interested in participating are urged to call 983-7262 or 982-2132 by April 7.

Port Arthur City Wide Ushers Union will celebrate its Fifth Annual Memorial service at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 13, at Calvary Baptist Church, 248 East 18th St. The will be hosted by the Rev. Kurt Washington. The Rev. Frank Phillips will be the speaker and the congregation or True Vine Baptist Church will be the guests.

United Board of Missions will host a bridge luncheon from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 23. Bridge games will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and lunch will be served from noon to 1:30 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Meals on Wheels Program. Reservations should be made by April 18. New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 549 West Gulfway Drive, will host its “Spring Word Shop” from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 12. Yvonne Howard and Terri Prescott will be the guest speakers.

Eastern Star Baptist Church, 548 15th St., will host its annual musical sponsored by the Sanctuary Choir at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 12. The Memorial High School Choir will be the guests. The Sanctuary Choir annual will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 20. The Rev. Allen Ben and the Zion Travelers Baptist Church of Mamou, La. will be the guests.

Christian Faith Missionary Baptist Church, 1919 Jefferson Drive, will host worship services at 9:30 a.m. Sundays beginning Sunday. This will replace both the 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday services.

Solid Rock Baptist Church, 1337 E. Fifth St., will host a conference titled, “Proper Attitudes Towards Leadership” at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Pamela Joyce Anderson will be the speaker.

Groves

Christian Church of Port Arthur/Groves, 5505 25th St., will feature the Rev. Lynn Parker of Church On the Rock during the 10 a.m. service Sunday, April 13, and the Rev. Dianne Dabney of Lake Charles, La. during the 10 a.m. service Sunday, April 27.

Sister to Sister sponsors a “Women’s Breakfast” at 9:30 a.m. the second Saturday of each month.

The “City Wide Intercessory Prayer Group” meets the first Friday of each month. For more information, call 982-7585.

Sister to Sister meets at 6:30 p.m. every third Friday and the Christian Church of Port Arthur/Groves Men’s group meets at 10 a.m. the third Saturday of each month. For more information, call 963-3114.

Port Neches

First United Methodist Church, 1826 Nall, will combine both regular Sunday services into one 10:50 a.m. service through April 6. Mother’s Out registration is currently being held.

The Southeast District United Methodist Women Spring Celebration will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. Kathy Behrman will be the guest speaker. The “In Remembrance” program will be presented. Lunch will be available following the meeting. Registration begins at 9:30.

Promises Group of the United Methodist Women will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, in the Asbury classroom. For more information, call 722-8357.
