La Asociacion De Damas Guadalupanas of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church will host its 28th annual appreciation dinner at 5 p.m. Sunday, June 1, at OLG Fernandez Parish Hall, 3648 Staff Sgt. Lucian Adams Drive. The Damas have provided a variety of services to the church since the organization was founded in 1939. The Rev. T.R. Blanco, pastor, is spiritual director. Pictured are many members of the group. The officers are Norma Guerra, president; Cokey Reyna, vice president; Teresa Chavez, secretary; Norma Becerra, assistant secretary; Maria Perez, treasurer and DCCW representative; Elena Vega, assistant treasurer; Socorro Villareal, historian; Carmen Leo, public relations.
