PORT ARTHUR — As the Valero league kicked off last week, Tray Batson decided to start the season with some excitement.  But, when he stepped up to toss out that first ball, little did he know that he would follow with 10 more strikes.  

    I do not know what pin he left at the end of the game but he finished with a 299!  Tray shot a 242 for his second game, slowed up a bit on his third game, and went home with a 740 giving him the high series for the week.  

    This does have him coming back next time with a 246 average, but if the shot is anything like it was last year, it may not be too much to handle.  Nice bowling Tray.
