* After a first round loss to Jasper, Port Arthur Memorial bounced back with wins over Nederland and Beaumont Kelly to claim the championship of the loser's bracket. Lady Bulldogs, who were down by as much as 25 points in the contest, could not find enough in the tank to overcome the Lady Titans, which won that matchup 61-51. Memorial followed that victory by stomping Kelly 77-46. Meanwhile, Nederland fell into the consolation game of the loser's bracket where it won a 38-31 decision over Vidor. 

* In the winner's bracket, Goose Creek Memorial came out on top with victories over Jasper and East Chambers. Orangefield placed third by defeating Jasper 58-34. East Chambers knocked the Lady Bobcats off the road to their second championship appearance in two years at the Lady Bulldog Classic with a 36-34 decision.

* For their next games, the Lady Bulldogs and Lady Titans will square off Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Port Arthur.
