- Dylan’s
Cheap Whiskey rides into Mid-County this weekend as the group is scheduled to perform at Dylan’s starting at 9 p.m., tonight. Meanwhile, on Saturday night, it’s Darren McGill and The Texas Speedbumps. Ages 21 and older are always able to attend and admission is charged at the door each weekend night.
On Tuesday night, it’s acoustic music from local singer and songwriter Lee Pelly starting at 8:30 p.m. Also, karaoke is featured free of charge on Wednesday from Joyce Rainey.
- The Place
One of many local concerts this month using the moniker “Octoberfest” takes place starting at noon, Saturday, at The Place in Port Acres. Several bands will be on tap to help make the most of this outdoors concert featuring several bands. The performance is free of charge and all ages are welcome to attend since it is being held outside of the venue.

Fall may be here, but the music is still keeping things hot at the Pine Tree Lodge in LaBelle.
Scott McGill and Old Dog Mac are scheduled to perform from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m., Saturday, while Herbie Stutes and the Grand Shin Band will perform on the patio from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m., Sunday.

It’s a rock party few will hate to miss tonight at Nutty Jerry’s in Winnie as one of the most distinctive voices in rock history travels to Southeast Texas for a showcase.
Lou Gramm, the former lead vocalist of Foreigner, will perform tonight at Nutty Jerry’s with special guest Seventh Rize. Tickets are $15-$30 each at the door.
Then, on Saturday night, country music singer Lee Ann Womack travels to Nutty Jerry’s for a great showcase at this newly opened venue. Tickets are $35-$25 each and special guests include Rich O’Toole and Jason Helms.

- Ford Arena
One of the fall’s hottest Christian music tours comes to Beaumont as the “Make a Difference Tour 2010” arrives in Ford Arena tonight.
Artists scheduled to perform include the popular acts Max Lucado, Michael W. Smith, Tobymac, and Third Day. Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster outlets, including the Ford Park box office, for $27.50 - $52.50 each. The doors to today’s concert open at 6 p.m. and the showcase begins at 7 p.m.
Delta Downs
George Jones is not just a legend, but a true country music icon, which makes sense his show at the Delta Downs Event Center on Saturday night has already sold out.
