PA man shot to death Thursday night

PORT ARTHUR — The Port Arthur Police Department is looking for information in regards to a man that was shot to death in Port Arthur Thursday night.

PAPD responded to the 3200 block of 14th Street at approximately 11 p.m. Thursday, April 19 finding a man lying unresponsive in a driveway. The victim, 28-year-old Port Arthur resident Jason Eugene Johnson, had been shot and was pronounced dead by Justice of the Peace Gilliam.

The incident is being investigated by The PAPD Criminal Investigation Division and anyone with information about the crime is asked to call the PAPD at (409) 983-8600
