Celebrating 10 years in Port Arthur, BASF Fina Petrochemical LP executives joined local dignitaries and industry representatives Tuesday to laud the business venture that is said to have been the spark that ignited area expansion during the last decade.

Since operations began at the company’s Port Arthur site in 2001, more than 34 billion pounds of products that are essential chemical building blocks for many consumer and industrial goods have been produced.
