Three house fires occurring within blocks of each other Sunday could be the work of an arsonist.
The homes were all vacant and had no working utilities, Beaumont’s Channel 12 News reported.
No one was injured from the fires.
Firefighters were called to the first fire, at Sixth Street and West Cypress Avenue, a little after 5 p.m. Sunday.
The second fire started at about four hours later, around 9 p.m. at a vacant home located at Eighth St. and W. Sholars Ave.
Simultaneously, firefighters received a third call about a house fire in the area,  this one in the 1200 block of Park Avenue.
The fires are under investigation.
