No injuries were reported when a clerk at Stop and Drive No. 2 was robbed at gunpoint Friday night.
Port Arthur Police responded to the store, located at 5138 Gulfway Drive, at approximately 8:54 p.m. Aug. 7. The clerk told police a person had approached the counter and pointed a handgun at him and the other clerk. The suspect demanded money and fled the scene, according to a press release from the PAPD.
The suspect fled the scene with money and merchandise.
Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Neither clerk was injured in the incident.
The case remains under investigation.
