PA hotel clerk robbed at gunpoint

Port Arthur Police are searching for a man who jumped over a counter at a local hotel and robbed the clerk at gunpoint late Monday night.
Officers were called to Three Rivers Inn and Suites, 2015 W. Texas 73 at about 11:35 p.m. Oct. 5. Police learned that a black male entered the business brandishing a handgun and threatening the clerk, according to a press release from PAPD.
A man identified as a supervisor at the hotel told the Port Arthur News he was not able to comment on the incident.
The suspect was able to remove an undetermined amount of money from a cash drawer as well as stealing the clerkâs cell phone and his cash as well.
The suspect fled the area in a vehicle. No injuries were reported.
