George Wren Dupuis

George Wren Dupuis was born November 14, 1928 in Port Arthur, Texas to Aldus A. Dupuis and Inez Wren Dupuis. He died October 7, 2015 in Port Neches, Texas.
Wren graduated from Thomas Jefferson High and was a graduate of Rice University in mechanical engineering. He was employed by Texaco for 32 years at Port Arthur and Convent, Louisiana. He was a resident of Port Neches and a member of First Baptist Church Groves.
Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Margret “Rete” Massey Dupuis; four children, Douglas Dupuis and wife Latressa of Galveston, TX, Lisa Duplant and husband Craig of Lake Arrowhead, CA, Steve Dupuis and wife Eva of Port Neches, TX, and Philip Dupuis and wife Vicki of Montgomery, TX; seven grandsons, Brad Duplant and wife Amanda of Sugar Land, TX, Blake Duplant of Austin, TX, Andrew Dupuis and wife Roni of Port Neches, TX, Jacob Dupuis of Port Neches, TX, Wren Dupuis of Conroe, TX, Mason Dupuis of Montgomery, TX and Logan Dupuis of Montgomery, TX; one granddaughter, Morgan Duplant Brunjes and husband Thomas of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; two great-granddaughters, Addison and Paige Brunjes of Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
A visitation for family and friends will be Friday, October 9, 2015 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.
A memorial service will be Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Groves.
