Emergency crews were called to a one vehicle accident Monday afternoon near Lake Arthur Drive and U.S. 69. There, a Kia Sorento had left the roadway and flipped into the Jefferson County Drainage District 7 canal, where the vehicle was overturned and partially submerged. The driver, a woman’s whose name has not been released, was taken to Medical Center of Southeast Texas for treatment of unknown injuries.
