Willie Mae Holmes, 77 years old, was born in Lemoyne, Louisiana on October 8, 1938.  She was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Marrow, Louisiana.  She departed this life on Monday, November 23, 2015 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, TX.
Preceeding her in death was her husband Willie Holmes, Sr.; 2 daughters Shirley Ann Drake and Deborah Holmes; one granddaughter, Alexis Holmes; 1 sister Mary Fontenot.
Willie Mae is survived by her 3 daughters, Patricia Knight (Billy), Janice Roy (Paul), Toccara Holmes (Chris); 3 sons Kenny Holmes (Tangela), Willie Holmes (Elnora), Jerome Holmes (Stacy) of Port Arthur, TX; 1 sister Verdie Hudson; 3 brothers Benjamin Callihan, Jr. and LeRoy Callihan of Louisiana, Clarence Callihan of Port Arthur, TX; 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 special friends; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will 11 a.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Shilo Baptist Church, 1725 Bluebonnet Avenue, Port Arthur, TX with a viewing from 9 a.m. until service time.  Rev. Samuel Joseph will officiate.  Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
