Harris’ triple-double guides Seahawks over Cavs

Lamar State College-Port Arthur wanted this win before the big game on Wednesday.
The Seahawks dismantled the Bossier Parish Community College Cavaliers Saturday, 103-79.
LSC-PA (10-5, 3-3) now awaits a road trip to Athens Wednesday when the Seahawks face the No. 2 Trinity Valley Cardinals.
Jordon Harris record a triple-double Saturday with 24 points, 10 assists and 10 steals.
Colton Weisbrod scored 21 to go with 10 boards and Freddie Williams Jr. had 18 points and seven assists.
Mambi Diawara also had a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds.
The Seahawks held the Cavs to 39.7-percent shooting and forced 23 turnovers.
LSC-PA continued to struggle from the free throw line. The Seahawks were 12-of-26 from the charity stripe and shot 54.8-percent from the field.
The Seahawks opened the game up midway through the first half and led 61-34 at the break.
The Cavs (4-12, 0-5) did outrebound the Seahawks 49-46.
Aldon Kelly Jr. led the Cavs with 18 points. Antwine Baker had 12 points and Chris Freeman finished with 11. Drekaleus Williams had a game-high 13 rebounds.
