Harvey K. Gipson was born on October 25, 1958 in Port Arthur, TX to Ida and Hezekiah Gipson.  He was a 1977 graduate of Thomas Jefferson high School.
He is survived by his wife Tina Johnson-Gipson; son Harvey Charlot; daughters Kimberly and Kennedra Davis; father Hezekiah Gipson; sister Vera Gipson; brother Kirk Jones; step daughters Ka’Sandra and Donyell Johnson.
He is preceded in death by his mother ida Gipson and stepdaughter, Tanisha Barnes.
Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel with a viewing from 10 a.m. until service time.  Arrangements under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
