Man robbed of shoes, pants and phone, 4 arrested

A man walking down Woodworth Boulevard was robbed of his shoes, pants, cell phone and other items early Thursday morning.
The victim was in the 1000 block of Woodworth Boulevard at about 1:35 a.m. when a black Chevrolet truck stopped in the roadway near him.
Three men got out of the truck while the driver remained inside, according to a press release from the Port Arthur Police Department.
One of the suspects threatened the victim with a machete and they demanded his belongings. They took his shoes, pants, cell phone and several other items before getting back in the truck and leaving the scene.
The victim ran to his home, which was nearby, and used another phone to call police. He was able to give an accurate description of the suspect vehicle to dispatchers.
Officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle a few blocks away. The victim’s property was reportedly located inside the truck and the four occupants were arrested without incident and charged with aggravated robbery.
The suspects are ages 18, 33,34 and 36.
